Enter this month's account signals

Use the current Grant month and your best account evidence. Unknown options are accepted where you cannot verify a setting.

Allocation and pacing

Informational only. Utilisation uses the account-currency allocation equivalent below.

Use the monthly allocation equivalent shown in the same currency as Grant cost.

Use the Google Ads Cost column for the current month, not a cash payment.

For example, enter 15 when the report runs on the 15th.

Enter 28, 29, 30 or 31.

Find the first constraint, not a spend target

The screening result combines straight-line pacing with your policy, measurement, demand, bidding and landing-page signals.

No email is needed to see the full result.

How the screening method works

The diagnostic separates a pacing calculation from account states that only you can report. It does not infer account health from spend alone.

The calculation

Pacing

Month-to-date Grant cost is divided by the current day and extended across the selected month. That projected cost is compared with the allocation equivalent in the account currency.

Screening bands

Zero delivery means no month-to-date cost. Material under-utilisation is below 25% projected, partial utilisation is 25% to 59.9%, and high utilisation is 60% or more. These are tool triage bands, not Google policy thresholds or account targets.

Constraint order

Policy and measurement signals come before demand, bidding and landing-page alignment. This prevents a higher spend figure from hiding a more important account problem.

Action selection

The first three checks follow the earliest reported constraints. They are investigation priorities, not performance guarantees or automatic account changes.

Checked 5 August 2026. Always use Google's current programme guidance when a warning, suspension or conversion requirement affects the account.

Grant utilisation diagnostic FAQ

What does projected Grant utilisation mean?

It is a straight-line estimate based on month-to-date Grant cost, the current day and the account-currency allocation equivalent. It is a screening signal, not a forecast or a promise that the account will keep spending at the same rate.

Does a Google Ad Grant need to spend the full allocation?

No. Google does not require an account to use the full monthly allocation. Relevant search demand, meaningful outcomes and policy health matter more than spend alone.

What is a meaningful primary conversion goal?

It is an action that represents a real charity outcome, such as a completed donation, volunteer application, service enquiry or useful sign-up. In standard goals, earlier journey events can be secondary diagnostics. Remove weak actions from custom goals because every included action is used for bidding. Homepage visits and time spent on site must use Other and be excluded from Conversions, while a specific content completion may be meaningful when it represents a genuine mission outcome.

Does high Grant spend prove the account is healthy?

No. Higher spend cannot erase a policy warning, unreliable conversion tracking or a weak primary goal. This diagnostic keeps those constraints visible regardless of projected utilisation.

Can this diagnostic see our Google Ads account?

No. It uses the figures and account states you enter. PPC Chief does not connect to or inspect your Google Ads account through this tool.
